July 16th - August 27th

(1 Meeting Per Week)

This 8-week course is designed for students interested in learning the skills and strategies used in Computer-Aided Design (CAD). In this course, you will learn how to use Onshape, a powerful CAD software used by professionals and renowned for its impressive capabilities and intuitive interface. First, we will learn about creating 3D objects from sketches and 2D blueprints, techniques for drawing and modeling complex shapes and structures, and methods for animating these structures to visualize kinematic relationships. We will also discuss 3D printing, slicing, and G-code. This class will give you the toolset to design anything you can imagine and serves as a strong foundation for anyone who wants to start their journey into 3D modeling and design.
