HACKATHON

Our Hackathon will take place from July 30th to August 2nd (Friday to Monday). It is divided up into 3 different categories: Algorithm, AI, and Website. Prizes will be distributed in each category as to avoid comparing projects with substantially different goals.

ALGORITHM

This section encompasses anything related to algorithms. One example of a project is making a game that uses a specific algo/data structure and showcasing that. Writing a competitive programming problem is also a good example of a project.

The AI category includes almost any project related to AI and Machine Learning. For example, your team could create a facial recognition model and showcase that. Pretty much anything is fair game for this section if you can prove that it is related to AI.

WEBSITE

The final section is for if you and your team would like to build a website or some sort of web related project. Again, projects of all different kinds are accepted as long as they are somehow related to a website.

RULES & GUIDELINES

Completely copying a project from the Internet is not ok. Copying snippets of code from other people is allowed, as long as credit is given and at least 50% of the project is made by you and your team.
Using previous projects is not allowed, except for if you only use part of them. Again, at least 50% of the project has to be created by your team during these 4 days.
All participants must be in High School or earlier.
